Bio
Paul Achkar is a Senior Associate on the Apax Digital team. He joined Apax in 2021 and is currently based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax, Paul was a member of Citigroup’s Financial Technology team in New York, where he worked on global M&A and financing transactions across various FinTech sectors.
Paul graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program, with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA in International Studies.

Paul's Story
Paul’s passion for investing started while in middle-school when he managed a fictitious portfolio of stocks. Gamifying pattern recognition and trend analysis allowed Paul to create a story out of a set of numbers. This – tied with his excitement for technological innovation led him to Apax Digital where he helps the team think critically about potential investment opportunities in some of the world's most disruptive businesses.
