Living our values

“My dad’s dad was an electrician’s apprentice when he fled danger in Europe and started a sewing machine shop in New York. My mom’s dad was born on a farm in the Midwest. He became a professional truck driver who won national championships, and could rebuild an engine in his garage. Their examples teach me that problem solving, adapting, and hard work matter most of all.”

Zach's Story

Zach’s childhood friends would play “company” like other kids play “house”. They coded websites on their Macs and built things out of old electronic gear. For Zach this sparked a lifelong fascination with technology and the Internet. At Apax Digital, supporting company builders and risk-takers is the most humbling and energising part of his role. He loves the challenge of deeply understanding a business and its potential to make a dent in the universe.
