Zach Fuchs is a Principal of Apax Digital focused on growth stage investments in software, internet, and technology-enabled services companies. He joined Apax in 2018 and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax, Zach was a member of the investment team at Francisco Partners where he evaluated and executed buyouts and growth investments across technology verticals. Earlier in his career, Zach worked at Bain Capital and McKinsey & Company, and also worked with the mobile payments company Square.
Zach holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program, magna cum laude, with a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA in International Studies and French.
Zach serves on the boards of Apax Digital Fund investment MetaMetrics and Prove.
Zach’s childhood friends would play “company” like other kids play “house”. They coded websites on their Macs and built things out of old electronic gear. For Zach this sparked a lifelong fascination with technology and the Internet. At Apax Digital, supporting company builders and risk-takers is the most humbling and energising part of his role. He loves the challenge of deeply understanding a business and its potential to make a dent in the universe.
