Bio
Shawn Khazzam, Managing Director, is Global Head of Wealth at Apax. Mr. Khazzam manages a team responsible for the growth strategy, sales, and marketing of the firm’s private equity solutions to wealth managers in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
Previously, Mr. Khazzam was the Head of Private Wealth Alternatives, Americas for J.P. Morgan Asset Management and prior to this, he was based in Hong Kong where he led the firm’s Alternatives Distribution for Asia Pacific. He began his career in the software sector in Washington D.C. and Spain where he held roles in sales, product management and software design.
Mr. Khazzam received a M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University.
