Growing up, I watched my parents start essentially what was a new life when they immigrated to the U.S. They didn’t let imperfect English nor a lack of money or nearby family stop them from becoming successful and taking advantage of the opportunities given to them. “Learning, adapting, and growing” is something I’ve internalized from their example and is what I think makes achievement personally fulfilling. By keeping this as a core value, I’ve been able to approach life’s challenges with a positive attitude and remain resilient.
