Bio
Jeff Lumbard is a Co Head of Americas on the Investor Relations team. He joined Apax in 2026 and is currently based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax, Jeff was a member of Piper Sandler’s Private Capital Advisory team, where he worked with Institutional LPs throughout the Western US and Canada. He also worked as an Investor Relations professional at Northgate, Pantheon and Hamilton Lane, focused in the same regions.
Jeff holds a BA in Economics from the University of Washington.

Fortunate to find private equity early in his career, Jeff has been working with LPs in the western US for over 20 years and has seen the market develop from its earlier days. From working alongside LP’s in building their programs to working with GP’s raising capital, he brings a variety of perspectives so the opportunity to join the global team at Apax, working together to deliver result to clients, was uniquely compelling.
