Bio

Emanuele Pati is an Associate in the Global Impact team. He joined Apax in 2025 and is currently based in London.

Prior to joining Apax, Emanuele was a member of J.P. Morgan’s Energy Group in London, where he worked on pan-European M&A and financing transactions. He also previously worked as a private equity investor at Astorg in London.

Emanuele holds a Master Grande École with a specialisation in Finance from ESCP Business School.

Learn, adapt and grow

In my family, our best school was my grandmother’s kitchen table. She left school at 12, yet later taught herself to read and write, because dependence wasn’t an option. When life changed, she changed with it, turning curiosity into capability. She built a thriving family and became the link between everyone, the first call in any crisis. "We learn, adapt and grow" isn’t a slogan to me, it’s her legacy.

Emanuele's Story

Emanuele joined Apax to learn from exceptional people and support mid-market companies scale with clarity and conviction, where impact investing can be a powerful catalyst for growth. In life, he always borrows a tennis lesson: the best win only slightly more than half the points, so progress comes from resilience and focus, not perfection. He brings that mindset to every challenge: prepare relentlessly, adapt quickly, and fight for the next point alongside founders and management teams, aiming for steady compounding outcomes over the long run.
