Bio
Derek Shillman is a Vice President in the Tech team. He joined Apax in 2017 and is currently based in New York. His Apax deal experience includes Exact, Duck Creek, ECI, Paycor and Verint.
Prior to joining Apax, Derek was an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Evercore in New York.
Derek holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a BBA in Finance and Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Derek was initially attracted to Apax based on its rich history and longstanding reputation within the venture capital and private equity industries.
