Mia Hegazy is a Principal of Apax Digital. She joined Apax Partners in 2020 and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax, Mia was a Principal at Catalyst Investors, a New York-based growth equity firm. She began her career at Berenson & Company.
Mia holds a BA in Economics and a BA Urban Studies from Brown University.

Mia's Story
Mia spent six years investing in software before joining her portfolio company as interim CEO. During her time in operations, she learned first-hand the challenges of running a growing tech business. She was drawn to Apax for its unique ability to support its portfolio with an operations team and a global platform. Mia is excited to work alongside the Digital team to back innovative entrepreneurs and companies, particularly those that facilitate communication and drive efficiency.
