Best Buddies International is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). They achieve this by matching individuals with and without IDD in one‑to‑one friendships, supporting integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support. Through its vibrant chapters spanning schools, universities, and communities worldwide, Best Buddies empowers participants to build lasting connections, secure paid jobs, develop advocacy skills, and live independently.
