Bio
Vikram Mashru is a Vice President in the Digital team. He focuses on minority and buyout investments in high-growth software, consumer internet and tech-enabled services businesses. His Apax Digital Fund experience includes Pricefx and Faculty.ai. Vikram joined Apax Partners in 2019 and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, Vikram was a member of the Private Equity Practice at McKinsey & Company, where he worked on a range of buy-side and sell-side transactions of technology companies. He also advised corporates on strategy and transformation engagements across a range of sectors.
Vikram holds an MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics (LSE).

Growing up, Vikram dreamt of becoming an archaeologist. What could be more exciting than scanning a terrain in search of a precious artefact? While his dream faded as the realities of archaeology became clearer, it was this desire to find a hidden treasure that drew him to Apax Digital. Vikram loves spending his time trying to unearth the next disruptive tech company, as well as collaborating with exceptional management teams to forge a path forward.
