Bio
Rachel Lambert is an Investor Relations Manager and oversees and manages a global contact programme of meetings with investors. Based in London, Rachel joined Apax Partners in 2005 and has been involved in the preparation phase and fundraising process of each fund since Apax Europe VII.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, Rachel was an Investor Relations Manager at Baring Private Equity Partners (BPEP), a firm specialising in growth funds in emerging markets. She worked at BPEP for 12 years both in contact management and in the management of a global PR programme. Rachel began her career in the Training and Development department of the London Stock Exchange.
Rachel holds a BA in Latin from Bristol University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal Training from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Rachel's Story
Rachel has worked in PE for over 25 years, first joining Barings’ emerging markets team in a part-time capacity to fit in with her classical singing engagements. Making the switch to full-time ‘regular’ employment at Apax was easier than she first thought because of the interesting, diverse and talented people she has had the privilege to work with globally. Apax provided the opportunity to expand her focus beyond emerging markets and to learn the true meaning of what it is to work for a global firm.
