Bio
Ilya joined Apax in 2019 as an Advisor in the Operational Excellence Practice team, based out of the US.
He has held several senior engineering leadership roles in enterprise SaaS and e-commerce organizations, including Vice President of Cloud Services at SAP Concur where he was responsible for DevOps and public cloud strategy and delivery, Senior Director of Systems Reliability and Engineering at Oracle Inc, Director of Cloud Operations at RightNow Technologies and Director Global Engineering and Operations at Orbitz Worldwide.
Ilya holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.

Ilya has been connected with computers ever since he can remember, always striving to learn something new. Ilya’s roles have spanned from building highly-scalable ecommerce platforms to building high-impact global technology organizations. Ilya’s passion for new technologies and open source guided him towards cloud delivery thought-leadership; building and delivering software, platforms and infrastructure as a service. Ilya was drawn to Apax to be able to leverage his experiences to assist portfolio companies in their journey to the cloud and cloud-native architectures.
