When faced with the choice between doing things right and doing what’s easy, it has never been a question for me. Watching my mother conquer multiple marathons and an Ironman instilled in me a lasting belief: doing things the easy way may bring short-term relief but doing them the right way leads to long-term success.

I’ve carried that mindset with me through each of my World Major marathons and throughout my career. It is a guiding principle that has shaped who I am — and a primary reason I am where I am today, at Apax.
