Anna Schmitt is an associate in the healthcare team. She joined Apax in 2023 and is currently based in London.
Prior to joining Apax, Anna was a member of Perella Weinberg Partner in New York, where she worked on healthcare M&A and financing transactions.
Anna graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School.

Anna’s inherent curiosity led her to private equity investing – she enjoys the diversity of the investment process, from learning about a new industry or product to the in-depth financial analysis. At Apax, she was inspired by the talented, yet humble individuals and motivated by the opportunity to work alongside strong management teams to build leading healthcare businesses.
