Video: The Apax Intelligence Platform
Apax Interns 2021

Over the past several years, we've built a comprehensive data analytics platform from scratch - The Apax Intelligence Platform - that has the ability to ingest, very quickly, huge quantities of portfolio company data. This platform powers several proprietary analytical tools that enable us to unleash the power of data to drive unique and actionable insights.

Apax Foundation Spotlight: TERN
TERN - The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network - is one of the principal relationships in the Apax Foundation''s social mobility portfolio. The Apax Foundation has a particular interest in organisations that help refugees use the skills they bring to their new home countries and build fulfilling lives. TERN's work helps refugees achieve financial self-sustainability through entrepreneurship, connecting unutilised skills to market opportunities. Its long-term goal is to support 4,000 refugee entrepreneurs and launch 2,000 refugee-led businesses by 2025.

The Apax Foundation has supported TERN since its inception in 2017 and made a further 2-year commitment to it in February 2023. Our model is to have one of the future leaders of the firm engaged with each charity in our social mobility portfolio and we are delighted that Lara Markham, Vice President in Apax's Global Impact team, has succeeded Anders Meyerhoff as lead for TERN.
