Living our values

My late father is my favourite human. He was an international civil servant his entire career, working tirelessly to help those less fortunate in Sudan, Egypt, Yemen, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Bosnia…to name a few. He embodied humility, curiosity and integrity and loved to remind me that “if it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well”. His second most quoted phrase was “hard work never killed anyone”. Remembering his advice has served me well throughout my life and career – and that is why Apax’s value of impact through insight and tenacity resonates with me.
