Living our values

"Investing involves projecting the future.  And I don’t know anyone who always gets it right.  I try to be mindful of what drives key decisions, and be able to go back and analyse each one.  That is why 'We learn, adapt, and grow' is a value that has guided me throughout the years, not just in investing but in all aspects of life."

Shay's Story

Shay was attracted to Apax’s Tel Aviv office in 2008 after spending most of his adult life in Canada and the USA.  Back then, and still to this day, Apax is the most active global private equity advisory firm in Israel and the only one with a local team on the ground.  At Apax, Shay enjoys the challenge of working with investment and management teams across sectors and geographies to solve complex problems with humour, humility, creativity and detailed analysis.
