Bio
Shashank Singh is a partner in the Tech team and Head of the India office. He joined Apax in 2004 in London and is now based in Mumbai. He also serves as a Trustee of the Apax Foundation.
Shashank has led or participated in a number of deals at Apax including Infogain, Azentio, Fractal Analytics, Healthium MedTech, Manappuram Finance, Zensar Technologies, Shriram City Union Finance, Chola, GlobalLogic, iGATE, Apollo Hospitals, TIM Hellas, Weather Investments, TDC, Bezeq and Synetrix.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, Shashank was a strategy consultant with Monitor Company, where he advised clients in the telecoms and high technology sectors.
Shashank holds a first class MA in Economics from Cambridge University, a BA (Honours) with distinction in Economics from St. Stephen's College (University of Delhi) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar).

Shashank currently serves on the Boards of Infogain, Azentio Software, Fractal Analytics, Healthium MedTech and Shriram City Union Finance. He formerly served on the boards of Apollo Hospitals, GlobalLogic, Zensar Technologies and iGATE.
Shashank serves on the charitable boards of the Apax Foundation and Dasra, as well as the Harvard Business School’s South Asia Advisory Board and Cambridge University Vice Chancellor’s Circle of Advisers for India.
