Bio
David is a Partner and Co-Head of the Investor Relations team. He joined the Firm in 2000 as part of the Consumer team and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax, David was a Principal at Butler Capital Corporation and an artillery officer in the U.S. Army where he graduated from the U.S. Army Airborne and Ranger schools and served in combat operations during Operation Just Cause in Panama.
David received a BS with Distinction from the United States Military Academy, West Point and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
David is also the Co-founder and CEO of the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation which provides college scholarships to military children who have lost a parent to combat or training.

David's Story
David’s tenets are God, country, family. His mother passed on the faith that helped her raise two kids as single mother working three jobs. As the son of an immigrant and a family of veterans, he is grateful to be living the American dream. His wife and four kids are the centre of his world. David is a passionate believer in Apax – the strength of its values, the quality of its people and the merit of its strategy.
