Apax AMI Opportunities L.P., advised by Apax Partners LLP, today announced its successful final close at the hard cap of $500m. AMI Opportunities L.P. (AMI), advised by Apax Partners LLP, a leading global private equity firm, today announced its successful final close at the hard cap of $500m. AMI is an inaugural buyout fund for middle market companies that are either based in Israel or have a significant Israeli connection.
AMI’s investment focus will largely be buyouts and control transactions, although AMI’s investment criteria can also include minority equity investments and debt investments.
AMI’s portfolio already includes two deals closed in 2015:
- Schulz Catering, a leading caterer of the business sector in Israel; and
- Zap Group, the leading consumer internet business in Israel which runs both the largest digital yellow pages and the largest online price comparison site.
