Rohan Chen

Bio
Rohan is a Vice President in the Tech team. He joined Apax in 2019 and is currently based in New York. His Apax deal experience includes EcoOnline, IBS Software, MyCase, Verint, and Paycor.
Prior to joining Apax, Rohan was a member of Morgan Stanley's investment banking team in Toronto, where he worked on M&A and financing transactions across the Technology, Financial Sponsors, and Mining sectors.
Rohan holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Rohan's Story
While growing up in Asia, Rohan saw the tremendous energy and optimism of an impoverished populace determined to improve their livelihood. The same spirited pursuit of progress excites and motivates him today. Rohan enjoys working as a team to uncover the potential of businesses and their people, thereby delivering on Apax’s strategy of transformational ownership. Outside the office, Rohan is the proud parent of a border collie and runs a registered charity aimed at reducing underemployment of international newcomers in Canada.
