Apax Funds have backed a diverse range of retail, consumer and
leisure businesses across its global platform: companies such
as New Look and Somerfield in the UK; Plantasjen in
Scandinavia; Takko and CBR in Germany; Sisal and Panrico in
Southern Europe and Advantage and Rue21 in the US as well as
global brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and PVH/Calvin Klein.
The Retail & Consumer team is led by John Megrue (US) and
Oriol Pinya (Spain) and is made up of investment professionals
globally, including seven partners spread throughout North America,
Europe and Asia. The team has a range of professional backgrounds
and wide experience across many segments within retail, consumer
and leisure.
