The Media team is one of the largest and longest established in
the industry having advised Apax Funds on the investment of €3.8
billion of equity in the past ten years.
Led by Christian Stahl (US) and Tom Hall (UK), the team has a
wide variety of industry, consulting and banking experience, with
members focusing on niche sub-sectors of the market.
As the media environment has evolved, the team has also
developed specific expertise in digital media. Recent investments
in this space include: SouFun (real estate portal, China); Trader
Media Group (automotive classifieds, UK); Trader Canada (automotive
classifieds, Canada); and Bankrate (personal finance comparison
website, US).
