The Financial & Business Services team invests in a diverse
range of businesses, from banks and asset managers to consultancies
and support services providers.
Led by Michael Phillips (Germany) and Mitch Truwit (US), the
team is spread across Apax Partners' global office network and
consists of professionals with experience in industry, consulting
and investment banking. This enables Apax to both identify
opportunities for investment and to provide portfolio companies
with high quality strategic advice.
Over the past ten years, the team has advised Apax Funds on more
than €1.9 billion of investments. Past and current investments
include: Garda World, Travelex, FarmaFactoring, HUB International
and Bankrate.
