Apax Sustainability Committee
Sustainability is integral to Apax's
operations and is co-ordinated by a dedicated Sustainability
Committee drawn from senior members of the firm.
The Apax Sustainability Committee manages
all aspects of the implementation of the Apax sustainability
effort. The Committee provides regular feedback to Apax's CEO and
also to the Executive Committee with regard to key projects. The
Committee is led by Michael Phillips and meets on a monthly basis
to cover a wide variety of projects, both with regard to internal
matters and the Apax Sustainability Screening Programme
and also portfolio company monitoring.
Michael Phillips is a Partner and member of the Executive,
International Investment, Approval, Portfolio Review and Exit
Committees. He is based in Munich, is Head of the Munich office and
co-heads the Financial & Business Services team.
Michael originally joined Apax Partners in 1992. He has both led
and participated in a number of key deals including Sulo, IFCO
Systems and Tommy Hilfiger. He has served as an advisor and board
member to a number of Apax portfolio companies including
Xerium, IFCO Systems, Tommy Hilfiger, Travelex and Capio.
Prior to joining Apax Partners Michael spent three years at OTTO
Holding Ltd in Cologne, one of Germany's largest waste management
companies, as the general manager of an operations subsidiary and
four years at Ciba-Geigy Canada, as an engineer in their Plastics
Additives Division.
Michael holds a BS in Engineering Chemistry from Queen's
University in Kingston Canada and also an MBA from INSEAD.

Ellen de Kreij is a director in the Investor Relations Team
based in London, with a particular focus on European
investors. Ellen originally joined Apax Partners in 2002 to run the
deal generation practice, focusing in part on
managing relationships with the investment banking community;
she moved into the Investor Relations Team in early 2010.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, Ellen worked in the mergers
& acquisitions teams at Merrill Lynch and Broadview
International, where she specialised in advising clients in the
technology sector. She also worked for Shell in the Netherlands as
a regional manager for three years prior to completing an
MBA.
Ellen holds an MA in Dutch Civil Law from the University of
Leiden and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Denise Fallaize is the Managing Director of Apax Partners
Guernsey Limited and is also appointed to the board of each of the
General Partners of the Apax Pan European Funds. Denise has
worked with Apax Partners since the launch of Apax Europe IV in
1999. She is responsible for the management and administration of
the Apax General Partner and associated entities.
Prior to her involvement with Apax Partners, Denise gained the
majority of her experience with Lazard Fund Managers (CI) limited
and has been employed in the offshore fund industry for more than
25 years.
Denise holds a BSc in Banking and Finance from UMIST and a
Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.

Andrew Devine is the Head of Compliance and is based in the
London office. He joined the firm in May 2010.
Prior to joining Apax, Andrew worked at PwC Legal in their funds
practice. Before that, Andrew worked at Standard and Poor's as
Regulatory Counsel and the FSA's Enforcement Division as a
solicitor.
Andrew holds an LLB (Hons) from Lancaster University and is a
qualified lawyer. Andrew is also a member of the Regulatory
Committee of the BVCA.
