Experience and qualifications
James Shao is an Associate based in Shanghai. He
joined Apax in 2011. His Apax deal experience includes Golden
Jaguar.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, James worked at Merrill Lynch in
the Global Private Equity division and IDG Capital PE division,
specialising in buy-out and growth capital investment over the
Greater China region.
James holds a Bachelor degree from University of International
Relations.
