Experience and qualifications
Will Chen is a Principal in the Tech & Telecom team. He joined
Apax Partners in 2007 and is based in New York. Will has
participated in a number of deals including Epicor Software
Corporation, Activant Solutions and Sophos. He serves as a director
on the board of Epicor.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, Will worked at Bain & Company
and Goldman Sachs, advising clients in the telecoms and high
technology sectors.
Will holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Stanford
University, an MS in Engineering, Economic Systems & Operations
Research from Stanford University and an MA in International
Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He also has an MBA
from the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania.
