Experience and qualifications
Roy Mackenzie is a Partner in the Tech & Telecom
team and joined Apax Partners in London in 2003. He is
currently based in New York.
Roy led the Apax investment in Sophos in 2010, and participated
in the investments in NXP and King.com.
Prior to joining Apax, Roy spent most of his career at McKinsey
& Co, where he specialised in the technology sector. He has
also held operating roles at Psion plc and nSine Technology
Inc.
Roy holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and
a M.Eng in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College,
London.
