Experience and qualifications
Marcelo Silva is a Senior Associate in the
Financial & Business Services team based in New York. He
originally joined Apax Partners in 2011 as a Summer Associate,
before returning for full-time in 2012.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, Marcelo was an
Associate Consultant at Advisia Management Consulting, where he
advised clients in the telecommunications, mining, and
petrochemicals sectors. He is also a founding partner at Café
de la Musique BH, a franchise restaurant and nightclub in his
hometown Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Marcelo holds an MBA with High Honors from the University of
Chicago, an MSc in Computational Intelligence and a BSc in
Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais,
Brazil.
