Experience and qualifications
Derek Lim is a Senior Associate in the Media
team. He originally joined Apax Partners in 2010 as a Summer
Associate before joining full-time in 2011. Derek is currently
based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, Derek was an
investment professional at Fenway Partners, where
he worked on completing transactions in the branded
consumer, transportation and logistics sectors. Prior to joining
Fenway, Derek worked as an investment banker in the M&A group
at Citigroup.
Derek holds an MBA from The Wharton School,
University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Occidental
College.
