Experience and qualifications
Ashish Karandikar is a Principal in the Financial & Business
Services team based in New York. Ashish originally joined Apax
Partners in 2007 in the Tech & Telecom team. He has
led and participated in a number of key deals including HUB
International and TIVIT. He has also served as advisor and
board member to a number of Apax portfolio companies including
Garda World Security Corporation, Empire Pacific Windows, HUB
International and TIVIT.
Prior to joining Apax Partners, Ashish was an investment banker
at Morgan Stanley in the Mumbai and New York offices where he
specialised in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and
financing transactions and in evaluating investments in real
estate.
Ashish holds an MBA (Honors) from the University of Chicago and
a BCom from the University of Mumbai where he was valedictorian of
his class. In addition, Ashish is a qualified Chartered
Accountant.
