Apax Partners Invests $190m to acquire an interest in CME - CME sees boost to future strategic opportunities

Apax will become a limited partner in a partnership holding all of the Lauder interests in CME. The remaining 50.3% interest in the partnership will be beneficially owned by Ronald Lauder and his family. The deal is expected to close on Friday, September 1.

Bain Capital and Apax Partners join private equity consortium purchasing majority stake in Philips' semiconductor unit

Bain Capital and Apax Partners today announced that they had signed definitive commitments to join an expanded private equity consortium that has agreed to acquire an 80.1 percent stake in the Semiconductor Division of Royal Philips Electronics.
