Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is responsible for the
day-to-day management of Apax Partners worldwide. The group meets
on a monthly basis to discuss matters of strategic importance for
the global organisation. It is also responsible for setting
standards on remuneration and recruitment and oversees the
governance of the firm in each of the countries in which it
operates.
Martin joined Apax Partners in 1990 after a career
at Daniel Swarovski Corporation and BCG. He is Chairman of the
global Executive Committee and the Investment Committee and a
member of the Approval, Portfolio Review and Exit Committees.
John re-joined Apax Partners after founding his own
private equity firm, Saunders, Karp & Megrue, which merged with
Apax in 2005. He is a member of the Investment, Portfolio Review
and Exit Committees, CEO of Apax Partners U.S. and co-head of the
Retail & Consumer sector team.
Michael joined Apax Partners in 1992 after a career
at Ciba-Geigy Ltd. and Otto Waste Management Ltd. He is a member of
the Approval, Investment, Portfolio Review and Exit Committees,
leader of the Munich office and co-head of the Financial and
Business Services sector team.
Andrew joined Apax Partners in 1998 after a career
at LEK. He is a member of the Approval, Investment, Portfolio
Review and Exit Committees, and co-head of the Tech & Telecom
sector team.
Christian joined Apax Partners in 1999 after a
career at Bain & Company. He is co-head of the Media sector
team.
Mitch joined Apax in 2006 after serving as
Executive Vice President and COO of priceline.com. He is Co-head of
the Financial & Business Services team.
Investment Committees

sub-committees that oversee the investment process from initial
idea through due diligence and throughout the life of the
investment to its eventual exit. At every stage in the process, the
investment is subject to a rigorous process of scrutiny by these

Manages all events organised by Apax Partners for both employees
and external clients. In addition, manages Apax's support of
various galleries and the Strategic Partnership with the World
Economic Forum.

Provides data and analysis for the Investment
Professionals to assist them make informed investments.

Provides and manages the technology
infrastructure.
