Management support
Our panel of Operating Partners is comprised
of seasoned industrialists who offer a wealth of managerial
experience and specialist expertise across our five specialist
sectors. The panel helps portfolio companies' management or, in
exceptional circumstances, can take the helm at businesses if the
existing management is not adequately equipped.
100-day planning
Decisions made during the first few months within a new
portfolio company are critical to the success of the business. Time
is invested in gathering information and assessing the experience
within the business to accelerate the pace of change.
We ensure the right people are in place and appropriately
incentivised and we perfect a detailed plan to guide the business
well into the future.
Financing Team
In such turbulent times some of the companies we invest in will
face significant financing challenges and the existing management
may not have faced such tough trading conditions before. Our
Financing Team can help in difficult conditions and can help
exploit the opportunities low interest rates offer.
Portfolio Recruitment Centre
With over 100 companies in the Apax Funds portfolio employing
hundreds of senior managers, our Portfolio Recruitment Centre
provides key support. The team manages a 30,000 - strong database
of contacts, and undertakes search and selection for strategically
important positions within the portfolio.
