Exchange FS Group plc is an e-commerce and solutions business that enables businesses to distribute and sell personal financial services products across multiple distribution channels. These channels include direct sales, forces, tied agents, independent intermediaries and digital services such as Internet portals.
 
The Company develops, distributes and supports electronic trading in the insurance industry and related financial sites on the Internet.

Funds advised by Apax Partners supported the management buy-out from Origo Services and AT&T in February 1998. The company listed on the London Stock Exchange in August 1999.

In 1999 the Company launched a consumer internet service called Moneyextra, having transformed its technology from Windows to IP.

In November 2000, the consumer business Moneyextra.com was sold to Great Western Financial Services Limited, a subsidiary of Bristol & West.

Simultaneously, Exchange FS plc acquired Crisp Computing Ltd, a financial services software business that complemented its product offering. The Exchange plc was acquired by Marlborough Stirling plc in 2001
