Funds advised by private equity firms Apax Partners and TPG today announce the sale of TIM Hellas Telecommunications S.A., the third largest mobile phone carrier in Greece, to Weather Investments SPA.
Weiter >>London, 4 April 2005 – An acquisition company owned by private equity funds advised by Texas Pacific Group (“TPG”) and Apax Partners (“Apax”) signed a conditional acquisition agreement today with TIM International N.V. (“TIM”) for the acquisition of its 80.87% shareholding in TIM Hellas Telecommunications S.A (“TIM Hellas”) (NASDAQ: TIMHY; Amsterdam: TIMHY), the Greek wireless operator.

Apax Partners completes acquisition of TriZetto Group
The TriZetto Group, Inc. and Apax Partners announced today the closing of the merger pursuant to which funds advised by Apax Partners, together with minority investors BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee and The Regence Group, acquired all of TriZetto’s common stock for $22 cash per share.
