Bio
Patrick Raab is a Managing Director. He joined Apax in 2015 and is based in New York.
Prior to joining Apax, Patrick was an Investment Professional in Värde Partners' Liquids team in London, where he invested in European distressed situations. Prior to that, he worked in Omers’ Infrastructure investment team in London after starting his career in 2010 in Citigroup’s Merger and Acquisitions advisory team in Frankfurt.
Patrick holds a B.Sc. from European Business School Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.

Patrick's Story
Patrick joined Apax in 2015 as the first employee in the Listed Private Equity team. As one of his first tasks, he was involved in AGA’s listing on the London Stock Exchange. From day one, Patrick has been excited about Apax’s entrepreneurial spirit and the chance to be an early part of the firm’s credit investing. Having always been a curious investor, it is the interaction with a diverse pool of colleagues and their strong sector experience that Patrick enjoys especially.
